Christopher Tomaras, MD of Peachtree Neurosurgery in Atlanta explains the procedure for an anterior cervical disc replacement (spine surgery) with helpful illustrations. The subject of this video has arm and neck pain resulting in a never impingement with radiation into the arm. The disc is removed and replaced with an implant that will restore movement. This is a common procedure for back surgery.
